The Autism Society of Oregon organized a cool event with Alaska Airlines so that me and a bunch of other kids could go on a real airplane and taxi around PDX!
I loved all of it, as usual – walking through the airport, going through security, standing on the moving walkways…
There was even a playground by our gate!
That red rectangle on my lanyard means, “don’t even think about taking my picture.” I wish that would work in real life.
747 spotting! Do you see it back there?
That’s our plane, a 737-800.
I impressed Noah, an Alaska Airlines pilot, with my airplane knowledge.
Then it was time to taxi!
It was a short “flight,” and then it was time to exit…
…but not without talking on the intercom first.
Afterwards, Daddy and I did silly walks on the moving walkway.
Another successful day at the airport!
Fun! Fun! Fun!
